Today we are featuring Heads and Toes (Kitchener/Waterloo)
Heads and Toes began by two Moms who love their craft
and never go anywhere without a little knitting project in our purses! Having
always enjoyed creating homemade knitwear for our children and for friends and
family the move to starting a home business was an exciting next step. With encouragement from our families we
decided to make more of our own original designs and began selling them at
local craft sales and from our homes. We now have an Etsy store, a Facebook page
and have added many fun items to our collections which can be viewed on our
Facebook page.
We live in Kitchener/Waterloo and whenever possible we
purchase our materials locally! We love to make our knits with soft and natural
fibres such as fine merino wool, baby alpaca or llama, cashmere, cotton and
bamboo. We charge a fair price for our beautiful creations and find using
quality materials means they last longer and are more durable.
We are always
designing new items and we get inspiration from nature, animals and what is new
in fashion. We enjoy creating custom items for our customers who have something
special in mind but are having trouble finding it. We love to take on a
challenge and create something you can enjoy wearing. Heads and Toes have added
beautiful hand sewn dresses and cotton sun hats as well as hair accessories to
our collections. We are always planning and creating and enjoying where this
process is taking us.
